I mention "former" service in the Civil Air Patrol.  As of this posting, I've rejoined CAP, and the paperwork just came through today.  Doug also joined and we'll be sharing whatever stories we can from our CAP adventures.  If you're interested, we'll be over at the Black Sheep Senior Squadron, Colorado Wing.

Mike is amazing! He recorded this intro from a CRUISE SHIP on his HONEYMOON! Holy cow! Mike is also our intrepid graphic artist who created our first (possibly the first of many?) MHF logo! Thanks Mike!

- Doug's Intro

Doug is still in shock he's a host on an Aviation podcast! I was going to peel out some of his mistakes in the original audio file, and use them as out-takes, but I only had out-takes from myself and Doug, and that just didn't seem fair for Podcast #1.

- Zyola's Intro (our GIRL POWER! Yay!)

"Z" already has her nickname.  I don't know if it qualifies as a callsign yet, but it's starting to stick! When I first went hunting for folks to be part of the MHF team, I realized that we need more women pilots in the Aviation Podcasting world, and asked/begged "Z" to join us!  Thank you Z!

Production notes:

Audio quality (or lack thereof) is 100% MY FAULT, if you don't like it! I know the audio isn't perfect from Z's recording, and with a self-imposed deadline looming, and pressure from the Twittersphere, I decided it was best to just "SHIP IT!"... it's Podcast #1... it doesn't have to be perfect!  It's CONTENT, and we'll be making more!

And after listening to it, I made at least two serious editing mistakes in my own audio! HA! There's your out-takes!  OOOOOPS!
